The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified and commercially astute In-House Solicitor to join our legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters and support the Group’s operations in the UK, Asia (including Hong Kong and Malaysia), and South Africa. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to manage legal risk and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts with customers and suppliers
* Provide legal support on tenders, NDAs, and agreements across multiple jurisdictions
* Assist with corporate governance, compliance, insurance, data protection, and dispute resolution
* Build strong relationships across business units and support functions
* Liaise with external legal counsel and manage legal instructions effectively
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 2 - 5 years PQE
* Solid grounding in corporate, commercial, or construction law
* Experience in a national/regional law firm or in-house legal team
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
* Commercial awareness and proactive approach to legal risk
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Collaborative mindset across diverse teams
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently
* Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 construction contracts
