Monday to Thursday:
* 6:00am 12:00pm
* 2:00pm 10:00pm
* 10:00pm 6:00am
Friday:
* 6:00am 12:00pm
* 12:00pm 6:00pm
* 6:00pm 12:00am

We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a rotating shift engineering team on a 6-month contract. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician:
* Ensure all production equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise unplanned downtime.
* Attend machine breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance efficiently.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical faults.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety, operational, and quality standards.
* Accurately complete maintenance documentation and records.
Required candidate experience:
* Proven experience attending machine breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities.
* Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting capability.
* Good knowledge of electrical systems including motors, circuits, and sensors.
* Basic PLC knowledge and understanding of control systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive maintenance approach.
* High level of safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
* NVQ Level 3 or an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
