The Role
As Area Sales Manager for Scotland, you’ll be responsible for leading sales and business development across the region — working directly with OEMs, system integrators, and end users across a wide range of industries.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing existing customer relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities.

Supporting OEMs, end users, and engineering firms with technical solutions tailored to their specific applications.
*
Promoting a comprehensive range of products mechanical components and drive systems.
*
Conducting site visits, technical discussions, and joint project development with engineering teams.
*
Preparing forecasts, managing territory growth plans, and contributing to the overall UK sales strategy.
About You
You’ll combine commercial acumen with solid technical grounding — someone who understands how industrial systems fit together and enjoys the challenge of developing a region.
You’ll ideally bring:

A Mechanical or Engineering-related HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification.
*
A proven track record in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering sales, ideally with exposure to mechanical power transmission, automation, or rotating equipment.
*
Experience working with or selling into industries such as aggregate quarrying, food & beverage, materials handling, packaging, or general manufacturing.
*
The confidence to engage with design engineers, maintenance teams, and decision-makers alike.
*
A self-motivated approach and strong territory management skills.
