Role Overview The Functional Head of Transformation is a senior role accountable for steering the implementation of systems, processes, and ways of working to fulfil the Global Functional Strategy for Digital and Services in the STS business, ensuring quality and service from a global perspective. The role is responsible for driving the standardisation and scalability of the functional operating model, ensuring transformation success within their area of business responsibility, aligned to the Zenith programme As the Zenith and Zeus programmes proceed and create a common design, the Head of Transformation role is key in aligning and delivering change across their business area both aligned to Group common and Business Unit distinct design decisions. They are the go between our process design and the wider business impact. Service and Digital represents the highest degree of growth across the Group and is a core part of the Group and Business strategy. The Strategy for Digital and Services is defined and must be supported by a strong target operating model definition, global common processes and systems to enable success and efficiency of delivery across the business. This role will report directly to the Head of Digital and Services STS and will have key interfaces across central and Division teams. Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On… Functional Strategy Implementation: Develop and oversee the realization of the functional strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and effective implementation across all regions and departments. Standardization and Scalability: Set policies, advocate for best practices, and manage the execution of changes through well-defined roadmaps to ensure consistent and efficient end-to-end processes. Talent Management: Oversee Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Business Process Owners (BPOs), ensuring teams are effective and aligned with strategic goals. Measure the effectiveness of the functional operating model and keep senior stakeholders informed about changes. Strategic Transformation: Act as the business lead on transformation projects (notably Zenith) with functional impact, ensuring strategic alignment, advocating for group policies, and participating in relevant governance committees and forums. Change Management: Own, drive, and steer the change. Address transformation resistance within the business area, ensuring new ways of working are fit for purpose, scalable, and successfully implemented. Strong, strategic communication skills are vital. Decision Rights: Drive functional change and operational effectiveness, making decisions aligned with these goals. Global Model: Ensure the global model is not only designed and implemented effectively but also continuously improved to meet evolving business needs. Your Previous Experience Is Likely To Include…. Practical functional experience and operational leadership experience within this or a similar industry. Strong services and/or digital business experience is vital. Excellent level of functional/business knowledge, processes, systems, and strategies. Proven leadership, people management, and influencing others during significant and transformational periods/programmes of change. Broad multinational/cultural experience and network. Strategic business thinking at a global/cross-functional level with an understanding of multinational operational challenges.
