Morvan Trading Ltd is a small family company, who specialise in supplying mains power cables to UK, Europe, and rest of world.
We are looking for a motivated and diligent individual to join us for business development and increase sales. The right candidate must have a can-do attitude and a real desire to grow and contribute within a small hard-working team.
Role responsibilities:
* proactive sales by telephone and email, to current customers, previous customers, and enquiries which did not result in an order
* reactive sales, providing quotations for current customers and following up on them by telephone
* general admin cover, including processing orders
* providing additional support to other departments, especially school holidays
The list is not exhaustive as being a small business; we require an all-rounder who can adapt. Full administration, product and system training will be provided to the successful applicant.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
* Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Confident communication skills by phone and email
* Ability to work within a small team and on own initiative
* Have a professional and positive attitude
* Providing additional support to other departments as and when required
* Willingness to learn/improve
* Organisational skills
* Ability to work with numbers
* The ability to work under pressure
* Transport essential due to location
Hours of work:
35 hours per week; nominally 9.00am to 5.00pm; Monday to Friday.
Salary: circa £24,000 per year. To be reviewed based on performance.
Expected start date: 15-Sep-2025 or later
