Based at our brand new manufacturing facility in Newport, South Wales we are looking Manufacturing Assemblers to join the team!

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Manual soldering and wire bonding of small electronic components using a microscope
Handling and attaching tiny components (dies, resistors, capacitors) with tweezers
Mixing compounds for coating, bonding and encapsulation
Cutting, welding and forming ultra-fine wire (40 gauge)
Microscope inspection (20x) to ensure quality standards
Incoming/outgoing quality checks on parts and assemblies
Testing assemblies using tools such as voltmeters, calipers and oscilloscopes
Cleaning products with dilute chemical solutions
What Were Looking For
A-Level or NVQ qualifications desirable.
Experience in small device or electronic assembly
Ability to read assembly drawings and basic blueprints
Manufacturing/shop-floor experience beneficial
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using MS Office
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday. There may occasionally be the need to work on a shift basis due to business requirements.
