We are currently recruiting for a National IFA practice that are looking to recruit an Independent Financial Adviser to join their team. They are looking for someone to cover the East Anglia area, clients are predominantly in the Norwich/Kings Lynn area. This is a home-based role but will require travel. The ideal candidate will come from an independent background. Great salary and bonus on offer.
Purpose
1. To deliver holistic financial advice, supporting our clients to achieve their financial objectives
2. Developing long standing relationships with clients through regular reviews and delivering solutions to meet their change in circumstances
3. Creating strategic alliances with professional connections with a view to develop new client relationships
4. Driving a referable culture within the client bank to encourage referral opportunities
5. Organically grow client relationships to meet ongoing business requirements
6. To reach revenue target and contribute to the growth of the business through client retention and new business whilst ensuring the needs of the client are being considered and achieved
7. Be an ambassador for the company brand through active promotion of our services
Responsibilities
8. To develop effective relationships with clients and professional connections as one of the principal sources of new clients and maximising brand awareness
9. Develop a sustainable business model for the provision of advice to clients
10. Develop holistic client relationships in line with our client service proposition
11. Actively seek and identify new business opportunities both internally and externally to support the growth of the business
12. Provide financial advice to clients on a range of whole of market financial planning solutions
13. Provide clients with exceptional service, ensuring that all reviews are undertaken regularly and in accordance with their agreed service propositions to maintain and grow our recurring revenue stream
14. Achieve organisational, operational, personal and behavioral objectives, whilst demonstrating the company's values and core competencies
15. Expand client opportunities via networking with external bodies
16. Ensure that MI reporting is completed timely and accurately as directed by the business or Adviser Relationship Manager
17. Meet set KPIs both in terms of service, sales, and compliance
18. Support the Treating your Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative by ensuring you operate in line with FCA requirements
Experience and core skills
19. Financial Planning diploma qualified (ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered)
20. Demonstrable financial planning experience gained with a recognised organisation
21. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex financial arrangements
22. Demonstrable track record of delivering challenging sales targets within a regulated environment
23. Knowledge of back office systems
24. Keen attention to detail
25. Collaborative working
26. Previously achieved CAS status
27. Ensure that all CPD logs and training is up to date
28. Up to date knowledge of industry and legislative changes that may impact advice, allowing for mitigating strategy to be built into advice
