Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the condition, performance, and reliability of geotechnical assets, reducing the risk of breakdowns and downtime.
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of geotechnical equipment.
* Lead mobilisations of geotechnical assets, optimising efficiency and ensuring readiness.
* Support the Geotechnical Operations Manager in preparing and releasing lifting plans and deck plans.
* Lead inspections of geotechnical assets installed on both NextGeo vessels and third-party vessels.
* Utilise asset management systems, risk models, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical input to support projects, emergency responses, and long-term asset planning.
* Coordinate with local agents to arrange logistics and support global operations.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in geotechnical equipment or asset management.
* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with asset management systems and performance monitoring tools.
* Familiarity with international logistics and customs protocols (advantageous).
* Basic CAD experience (advantageous).
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and safety-first mindset.
