Location: Maidstone area
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) Open to Part-time
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Reports to: Room Leader / Nursery Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our client Nurseries. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
 * Deliver exceptional care and education following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
 * Plan and implement fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development.
 * Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
 * Ensure all children’s individual needs are met, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing.
 * Maintain accurate records of children’s development and progress.
 * Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
 * Work effectively as part of a team to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment.
 * Attend training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
 * Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
 * A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
 * Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
 * Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and maintaining a safe environment.
 * A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
