An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Bradford and District Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

You will be working in a community-based multi-disciplinary team delivering services to children, young people, and their families. The team values differences in training and aims to modernize and provide comprehensive care. We seek enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a 'can do' attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to quality care.

We welcome applications from professions such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Social Work. Please refer to the person specification for detailed requirements.

The role involves providing high-standard care through clinical risk and mental health assessments, formulation, and short-term contingency planning for young people in mental health crisis presenting in Accident and Emergency departments.

You will work within the community, offering face-to-face, solution-focused interventions, empowering service users, carers, and families, and signposting to health and social care resources. There is an opportunity to collaborate with the Intensive Intervention Team and other CAMHS pathways to facilitate appropriate interventions.

Please note that we are working towards offering a 7-day service, which will require shift work on a rota basis in the future.
