Responsibilities
 * Develop foundational skills in workplace safety management and employee welfare protocols
 * Build leadership capabilities through hands‑on team management and establishing a strong on‑site presence
 * Cultivate inclusive workplace practices while driving employee engagement initiatives
 * Gain practical experience implementing HR processes and procedures aligned with organisational standards
 * Design and execute comprehensive training programmes with competency assessment frameworks
 * Master operational management fundamentals, including inventory control and fleet coordination
 * Establish professional stakeholder relationships with clients and residents through exceptional service delivery
 * Analyse operational systems and present data‑driven recommendations for equipment and process improvements
 * Conduct thorough performance analysis, including incident investigation, complaint resolution, and corrective action implementation
 * Apply problem‑solving methodologies to address complex operational challenges
 * Drive performance excellence by establishing quality standards and achieving key performance indicators
Qualifications
 * Degree‑level qualification in environmental sciences, engineering or business management (to be achieved by September 2026)
 * Willingness to travel to training locations and potentially relocate for role requirements
 * Commitment to continuous learning and development
 * Excellent communication and written skills
 * Eager to learn and passionate
 * Creative problem‑solving and a passion for trying new ideas

Compensation and Location
Base salary of £28,000 plus 5 % South East weighting and Veolia benefits package. Rotational role covering three key Veolia Operating Centres: Amersham (HP9 7DT), Northampton (NN5 5JW) and Solihull (B91 2LW). 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Programme duration: 2 years starting September 2026. Candidate shortlisting takes place during the week commencing 10 November, with assessment days between the week commencing 24 November and 1 December.
