A Secondary School in Altrincham is seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time basis. The school is welcoming and supportive, providing excellent exposure to classroom environments. This role involves supporting an SEN child full-time. The school is conveniently located with access to public transport links and staff car parks. The pay rate is £89.38-£100 per day.
Main Duties:
* Providing academic interventions and support in core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Supporting an SEN child on a 1:1 basis
* De-escalating challenging situations appropriately
* Providing consistent positive encouragement
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant field (early years, psychology, etc.)
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Proficiency in behaviour management

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for the role to become permanent later.
