Role: Teaching Assistant
Schedule: Full Time
Start: September 2025
Location: Runcorn (WA7)
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you looking for a new role in September within a forward-thinking school in the Runcorn area? We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who takes pride in helping young children to help around the classroom at the start of the new academic year.
The role includes working in 1:1 setting as well as in small groups, delivering interventions such as phonics or mathematics schemes, as well as helping the class teacher to prepare and deliver lessons throughout all key stages required. Building relationships with the pupils is essential to the role; you may be working with SEND children as well.

The ideal candidate:
* Assist to plan and execute fun and engaging activities and lessons for children
* Understand child development both in education and emotionally
* Be able to hold interventions – eg. Phonics with small groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
