Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions: Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Retail, Housing, Maintenance, and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
The Role & Responsibilities
1. Work alongside Project Teams to effectively manage M&E service packages.
2. Monitor the progress of Sub-contractors and foster close working relationships.
3. Provide programme and specialist information during the tender period.
4. Ensure M&E services are installed correctly and to the specified standards.
5. Manage the test & commissioning stage to ensure a clean handover.
6. Ensure that O&M manuals are handed over at completion to an acceptable standard.
7. Manage the M&E contractor design portions with the supply chain.
8. Participate in the M&E Design & Build process.
The Candidate
1. Experience in the Mechanical/Electrical construction industry at a supervisory/managerial level.
2. Recognised mechanical and electrical qualification.
3. Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Project.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Adaptability to change within a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Experience with BREEAM and/or Design and Build is advantageous.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent position. Candidates may be based at our Paisley head office or Edinburgh Office in Newbridge. Travel to sites and client meetings will be required.
