What you'll be doing
1. Managing a team of 5 part-time cleaning operatives, including coaching, quality checks and regular one-to-ones
2. Cleaning your own designated areas to maintain high standards throughout our offices
3. Ordering cleaning supplies, managing stock and ensuring value for money
4. Acting as an out-of-hours contact (after 5pm) for building emergencies
5. Performing daily building checks and managing waste removal
6. Identifying and arranging additional cleaning requirements (like carpet cleaning)
7. Using our internal systems to place orders, manage documentation and communicate with teams
8. Providing cover when team members are on leave or absent
More about you
We're looking for someone with excellent people management skills who can lead by example and set high standards. You're organised and self-motivated with experience in delivering quality services in a professional environment.
Essential:
9. Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
10. Experience in cleaning, facilities or a similar hands-on environment
11. Strong communication skills to deliver health and safety briefings and training
12. IT proficiency for ordering supplies and using internal systems
13. Flexibility to work between 4pm-8pm and provide cover when needed
14. Driving license for travel between our Bath locations
Desirable:
15. Experience in an operational role where you've had to respond to immediate issues
This role requires you to work a minimum of 25 hours per week across 5 days, with core hours between 4pm-8pm. We have up to full-time hours (37 per week) available and can discuss flexible working patterns at interview.
