The role An exciting position has become available within our dedicated Facilities team for a Facilities Officer. In this role, you will help maintain the smooth operation of Southern Housing offices, creating a safe and comfortable workspace for all employees. You'll also contribute to delivering top-quality facilities management services that support business objectives and provide excellent customer service. You will be provided with all the training and support needed to excel in the role. Your main office will be in Farringdon, with your duties occasionally extending across other Southern Housing offices, giving you valuable insight into the broader organisation. What you'll have Suitable experience of working in Facilities or property management within a complex office environment, using a variety of facilities management systems. Demonstrable experience of managing complex day to day arrangements for large and complex buildings. Confident communication skills to be able to liaise effectively with colleagues in other teams, contractors and other stakeholders. Excellent planning and prioritising of workloads to meet competing deadlines and targets. Excellent literacy skills, with the ability to communicate positively and clearly to ensure target audience is fully informed. You'll be flexible, self-reliance and be able to work as part of a team and manage various stakeholders.
