Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards.
* Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
* Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing any questions or special requests.
* Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts to ensure smooth operation.
* Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene standards.
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety protocols is advantageous.
* Experience in serving or hospitality environments helps deliver excellent customer service.
* Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
* Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
* Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
