Disney Cruise Line, based in Orlando (Florida) is looking for a Pastry Chef to lead the pastry shop on one of the ships.
This outlet offers a mix of individual cakes and ice cream/gelato.
The Pastry Chef (called on board Speciality Gelato and Pastry Chef) will be responsible for a team of 2 sellers as well as for the production kitchen (assisted by a Pastry Assistant).
This role involves a high level of guest interaction.
Contract Conditions:
Renewable 6-month contracts.
Officer role with perks (pension, life insurance, disney park entries)
Salary $3500 per month net + Bonus (depending on results). This salary is exempt from taxes on board and on land.
Food, accommodation, medical insurance, and work uniforms/equipment are included in your contract as well as your flights.
Outside of work:
During your spare shifts, you will have access, on board, to a gym, indoor/outdoor bars, library
You will also have the possibility to leave the ship and discover some new places.
Regular ports of call include: Castaway Cay (Private island in the Bahamas), Nassau (Bahamas), Cozumel (Mexico), George Town (Grand Cayman), Falmouth (Jamaica), Tortola (British Virgin Islands)
What we are looking for:
A candidate with 2 years of experience at a Chef de Partie Pastry level MINIMUM.
An inspiring leader.
Be proficient in hygiene requirements.
Being able to produce ice cream/gelato.
Joining date: flexible for the right candidate.
