Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy is expanding its urban drainage capability to support clients in making informed, sustainable decisions across the full project lifecycle.
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Urban Drainage Modellers to join offices across:
Cambridge, Brighton, London, Ashford, Kings Hill, Southampton and High Wycombe.
This role sits within a well-established, collaborative team delivering a wide range of projects focused on catchment growth, flood risk management, and water quality improvement. Work is underpinned by a strong understanding of urban drainage within the wider water cycle and urban environment, with sustainability, environmental responsibility, and community impact at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on urban drainage modelling projects
Develop and deliver technical solutions for storm overflows, water quality, developer assessments, flood investigations, and related challenges
Collaborate with specialist teams to create and refine tools, procedures, and best practices within wastewater modelling
Plan, programme, and coordinate project delivery, including cost estimation
Line manage, mentor, and technically review the work of junior team membersAbout the Candidate
The successful candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and hold (or be working towards) membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE, CIWEM).
They will have demonstrable experience leading projects within an urban drainage environment and strong technical capability across a broad range of urban drainage modelling activities, including full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.
Experience in developing and managing staff is essential, alongside the ability to integrate into a collaborative team environment and provide clear technical leadership.
