About the Team: FAST works alongside young people and their families where the primary concern is extra-familial harm, substance misuse, adolescent mental health and 16/17-year-old homelessness. FAST operate within a contextual safeguarding model, acknowledging that traditional safeguarding approaches are not always the right fit for young people. Within this role, you would have the opportunity to work creatively within a multi-disciplinary/co-located setting, leading on the disruption of contextual risks to increases safety for our young people in the community. You will be working alongside Police, education, substance misuse worker, youth justice and youth workers. Terms and Conditions apply About the Role: We are recruiting for the role of Team Manager in our Family and Adolescent Support Team covering the North area. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of a team of social workers, family practitioners and family support workers working to support and safeguard children where the risks are outside of the home. You will be responsible for authorising family help assessments, overseeing the progression of Early Targeted Support, Child in Need and Child Protection Plans as well as a small amount of proceedings/pre-proceedings work. The role encourages creativity and requires you to engage in partnership meetings and spaces to lead on and engage others in making places and spaces safer in the North Warwickshire county. The Team Manager - FAST can earn up to to £58,813.00 per annum including a £3,500 pro-rated market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions – T&C's apply. The role requires you to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car. There is a requirement on occasion to drive for work purposes and attend meetings in other Warwickshire locations.
