Job Overview
As a Quality Support Technician, you will oversee and coordinate quality support activities within Building Construction Products (BCP), including investigating, documenting, analyzing, and resolving quality issues. You will also lead a team of Auditors/Quality Technicians.
Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot and address unforeseen quality issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
2. Collect assembly defect data and support continuous improvement efforts, developing check sheets for assembly lines and quality teams.
3. Supervise the assembly process to ensure compliance with work instructions and provide feedback on design and manufacturing issues.
4. Document testing and root cause analyses, catalog quality issues, and flag defects for repair.
5. Generate quality metrics, report significant issues to management, and communicate root causes in high-level meetings.
Qualifications
Demonstrate a strong background in quality within manufacturing or production environments. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience and experience with CMM and Faro Arm are advantageous.

* Contract: Permanent
* Salary: £33,800 rising to £37,500 with role objectives, plus 20% shift allowance for afternoons
