The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Secondary English Teacher to join our team. You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering inspiring and engaging lessons that help all students achieve their full potential. You will also contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and wider school activities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver effective English lessons tailored to diverse student needs Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback Support literacy development and promote reading for pleasure Collaborate with colleagues within the English department and across the school Participate in professional development and school initiatives Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching secondary English preferred Strong understanding of the English curriculum and examination requirements Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Passionate about helping young people succeed and develop a love of English Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment Why Join Us?
