Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver audit and assurance assignments from planning through to completion in accordance with UK GAAP
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key contact during engagements
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports
* Supervise and support junior team members, helping with their technical and professional development
* Identify and communicate accounting or auditing issues to management as they arise
* Support the team in meeting internal deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations
* Participate in internal training and development programmes
* Collaborate across departments, especially with tax and advisory teams, to provide well-rounded service to clients
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent); full study support provided if needed
* Previous experience in an audit role within a UK accountancy practice
* Capable of managing multiple engagements and prioritising work effectively
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Keen attention to detail and high professional standards
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport for client visits
