Knowledge, Skills, and Training
Essential criteria
* Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level
* Membership of the relevant Professional Body
* On progression: Supplemented by post-registration diploma-level specialist training and/or short courses or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge and understanding of Trust Strategy relevant to role
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
* Recent previous experience within a comparable role
* Experience of managing change
* Ability to demonstrate specialist clinical reasoning skills to assimilate information and make clinical judgments regarding diagnosis and intervention
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
* Experience of working with older adults in mental health (desirable)
Personal Qualities/Attributes
Essential criteria
* Effective communication skills at different organisational levels, both verbally and in writing, including negotiating and persuasive skills
* Experience in planning and organising complex activities, including managing staff schedules and discharge planning involving coordination with other agencies
* Ability to analyse situations and provide resolutions
* Willingness to update clinical knowledge and skills based on current evidence
Additional Requirements

* Ability to travel using own vehicle on Trust business, subject to the Equality Act
* Proficiency in written and spoken English to perform all role duties effectively
