Due to continued growth my Herts based client with a superb culture and Hybrid working is hiring a newly created role as Financial Analyst.
Whilst reporting into the Financial Controller with a dotted line into Commercial Finance you initially support the Finance function across broad accounting duties and in time your focus will switch to FP&A and Commercial Finance, making this the perfect step into industry for a practice qualified accountant looking to go the decision support route.
Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Financial Controller in broad day-to-day accounting activities.
\t
* Management Accounting.
\t
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
\t
* Deliver ad hoc accounting projects as required.
\t
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
\t
* Conduct margin analysis and provide insights to drive profitability.
\t
* Contribute to financial modelling and scenario planning.
\t
* Investment Appraisal
\t
* Ad-hoc Analysis
Candidate Profile:
\t
* Recenty qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
\t
* Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detail.
\t
* Ability to adapt and grow into a more analytical, commercially focused role.
\t
* Intermediate/advanced Excel
\t
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
