A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Eastbourne is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality education and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Foster a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote pupil achievement.
* Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing school development initiatives.
Job Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a UK primary school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2 considered).
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A passion for education and a child-centred approach.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
