We are looking for highly motivated members of staff to join our advanced practitioner teams within primary care in NHS Forth Valley.
These posts offer a number of options to applicants:
1. GP practice based: triaging and assessing urgent care presentations, including if appropriate home visits.
2. Working in General Practice allows a degree of flexibility to assure and promote a healthy work / life balance.
3. Part-time hours/variety of shift patterns available in GP practices, ie longer day 8-6 or shorter days 8-4 & 9-5.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced advanced nurse practitioners and paramedic practitioners who will embrace the challenge of these dynamic roles. All applicants should possess the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads, remain focused, work across professional boundaries and be flexible.
Essential Qualifications for band 7:
4. HEI accredited Independent Prescribing Qualification - V300
5. HEI accredited Clinical Examination & history taking course
6. HEI accredited clinical decision-making module with a primary care focus
Highly Desirable:
7. Previous advanced practice experience
8. Experience in autonomous practice in primary care or outof-hours
9. Autonomously managing undifferentiated urgent presentations such as experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner
