Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a unique hotel in the Falkland Islands (just off South America) who are looking for an experienced Head Chef Chef to join their team and work with them on a 2 year contract.

What's involved?
Like any Head Chef job your main reason for being there will be to make sure the kitchen serves varied, imaginative dishes that keep the clientele well fed to a high standard. The more multi cultural the cuisine the better and a Head Chef who has a wide repertoire will thrive here as you are fully in charge of what goes on the menu.
Your kitchen brigade of 8 chefs will cook for tourists in the summer and locals on the winter (you will be doing Christmas dinner in the middle of summer!) as well as looking after a small outside catering operation and supplying food for the local shop.
Ideally you will be used to working away from home for extended periods or have a family happy to relocate to the South Atlantic.
