Junior Corporate Lawyer. Fintech. 6 month assignment. 2+ PQE.
Our client is a market leading ALSP. They are currently looking to engage with a junior corporate lawyer for an assignment of at least 6 months in duration with a Fintech client. The role will start ASAP and can be undertaken on a remote basis within the UK. The end client will consider individuals looking to work 4 or 5 days per week.
The successful individual can expect to:
* Manage and assist with legal response to corporate and wider matters encountered by the company and internal stakeholders
* Lead external communication on legal matters including negotiation with external parties
* Assist in transactional activities including MA&, majority and minority investments and joint ventures as well as restructurings globally
* Lead, advise and support on a wide variety of transactional, reorganisation and governance initiatives
* Identify legal framework developments and align and promote consistency of approach across internal stakeholders
Successful candidates should have a strong corporate law background along with corporate reorganisation and restructuring experience.
The successful lawyer will likely be able to demonstrate:
* Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand and/or Australia, for example)
* Possess upwards of 2 years’ PQE in handling a full range of corporate legal matters
* Experience across a full range of corporate M&A, restructuring and reorganisation matters
* Experience gained within another in house environment would be highly desirable
* The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice
* The capacity to commit to a 6 month assignment
* Be based in England, Scotland or Wales
The role will pay a daily rate inside IR35.
