We’re partnered with a growing company in the medical device market. The client is known for their ultrasound service & maintenance provisions to both the public & private sector. Their clients include NHS Trusts & private clinics, based across the UK. The client prides themselves on their efficiency & quality when servicing customers’ ultrasound equipment.
About the Role: Junior Medical Device Engineer
Joining their team based in the midlands, you’ll take on the role a Junior Medical Device Engineer. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for conducting the planned & preventative reparation of ultrasound equipment both at the Head Office & in the field (UK-wide).
Responsibilities:
· Conducting the servicing & reparation of Ultrasound equipment at our client’s Head Office (average of 4 days per week).
· Responsible for the Planned Preventative Maintenance of Ultrasound equipment at customer sites across the UK (average of 4 overnight stays per month).
· Building strong rapport with both NHS Trusts & Private Clinics to retain our clients’ customers & provide them with a high level of service.
· Assist with ensuring that the client adheres to the requirements of ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO13485.
Requirements
· At least NVQ Level 3 qualified in an engineering discipline.
· Our client will also consider degree-level qualifications in an engineering (ideally medical-related) discipline.
· Strong Electrical bias.
· Full UK Driver’s license
· Full right to work in the UK.
Package:
· Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 per annum
