We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in Berkshire, who are recruiting for Adult & Young Persons Practitioners on temporary contracts.
The position is due to start as soon as next week. The rate of pay is negotiable.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in supporting vulnerable adults and young persons, whilst understanding the range of approaches needed towards those struggling with complex needs.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Working with a caseload of service users, either young persons or adults, and providing them with support plans
2. Ensuring all casework is properly recorded and service offers & outcomes are entered into the CRM
3. Actively collecting follow up information with regards to outcome and reconnections
4. Encouraging group work and key sessions
5. Assisting service users with clinical appointments when necessary
Experience required:
6. Working with clients in a trauma-informed way
7. Using motivational interview techniques to produce and approach referrals
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
8. IT skills and particularly Microsoft Office packages
9. Identifying and dealing with those struggling with substance misuse and mental health
Working hours:
10. Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm
11. Rota’d late shifts ever 3/4 weeks
12. 11am – 7pm Monday
13. 12pm – 8pm Thursday
