This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and architectural leadership. You’ll guide delivery, and embed performance, resilience, and scalability into everything we build.
What You’ll Do
* Own the solution architecture for a large-scale, distributed, event-driven platform
* Design systems using Kafka, SQL, and cloud-native patterns (AWS / GCP)
* Lead technical strategy, standards, and key architectural decisions
* Partner with product and engineering leaders to turn vision into reality
* Mentor teams and influence build vs buy, performance, and scalability choices
What You’ll Bring
* Experience architecting high-volume, distributed systems
* Strong background in event-driven architecture
* Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript, plus databases/SQL
* A balance of big-picture thinking and practical technical leadership
* Exposure to platform modernisation, rebuilds, or migrations
* Curiosity or experience with AI-driven solutions
