Key Responsibilities
* The role is to ensure assemblies are manufactured correctly to specification and on time.
* Fit and assemble machine parts accurately to engineering drawing.
* Accurately fit sub assembly parts using engineering drawings.
* Use hand tools and power tools to fit and assemble components.
* Use engineering measuring equipment where necessary to ensure components are to specification.
* Strip / prepare machines.
* Install machines at customer sites as necessary.
* Ensure safe systems of work are always adhered to and ensure any issues are reported immediately to management.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and stored safely.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in relevant discipline.
* Proven ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
* Pneumatics and Hydraulic knowledge advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills.
