A mix of Base salary + On-Target Earnings (OTE):


Curious Food Group Limited is a fast-growing hospitality business developing a portfolio of modern, high-quality food brands across the UK. Alongside our new arm of the curious food group contract catering brand, Our group includes Epic Caterers and Square + Fair, with a focus on delivering fresh, design-led food experiences within workplace and corporate environments.

As we continue to expand in high street and weddings the B&I and contract catering sector gives us a new arm to our hospitality group and we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving new business growth and strengthening our client portfolio.

This is a commercially focused role suited to someone with a strong background in sales, lead generation, and pipeline management, who is confident operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This role is a blend of business development and hands-on outbound sales, suited to someone with a genuine hunter mindset. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, driven and confident in generating opportunities, opening doors and building a meaningful pipeline from the ground up.

It is an opportunity for someone who is hungry to grow something exciting and commercially impactful, not just maintain an existing client base. You will be working closely with an experienced team of directors, gaining direct exposure to high-level strategy, deals and decision making, while playing a key role in expanding the Curious Food Group portfolio.

For the right person, this is more than a sales role. It is a chance to be part of building a modern, ambitious hospitality group with real momentum and long-term vision.

The Role

* Lead proactive business development activity across the B&I and workplace catering sector, with a light touch of support on festivals and events.
* Generate high-quality leads through outbound sales, networking, and strategic outreach
* Build, manage and maintain a robust and active sales pipeline
* Identify and engage key decision makers across corporate organisations, FM providers, property groups and workplace teams
* Secure and coordinate meetings, ensuring senior members of the Curious Food Group team are positioned effectively in front of prospective clients
* Support the full sales cycle from initial contact through to conversion
* Contribute to the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations and bid documents
* Work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver winning pitches
* Track activity, opportunities and performance through CRM systems and reporting

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in business development, sales or lead generation roles
* Strong track record of building and managing pipelines and converting opportunities
* Experience or exposure to bid writing, proposals and tender processes
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
* Highly organised, with strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
* Commercially aware, with the ability to identify viable opportunities and prioritise effectively
* Self-motivated and comfortable working in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial business

Experience within hospitality, contract catering, facilities management or workplace services would be highly advantageous.

Experience:

* contract catering : 1 year (required)
