Position: Support Worker
Type: Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), working a shift pattern covering the service 7 days a week

As our Lead Support Worker, you will support customers with complex needs such as alcohol and substance misuse, mental health, and homelessness, helping them develop skills for independent living. Your work will empower customers to achieve their goals and improve their lives.
Typical Day as a Support Worker
1. Assist customers with practical daily tasks to foster independence, supporting their goals outlined in support plans.
2. Help with activities like budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving to independent accommodation.
3. Conduct risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
4. Engage in conversations, building rapport with customers and colleagues.

Job Details
* Flexible working hours, with a six-week rolling rota covering 7 days a week.
* Occasional lone working, with regular team meetings and training.
* Use of technology for support plans, online learning, and collaboration.
* Enhanced DBS check required, paid for by us.
