They are now seeking a skilled Horticulturalist to join our successful, dedicated team and become part of the company’s growth.
Job Description:
* The person appointed will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks where a high standard is essential. These will include:
* · Assisting with general garden maintenance tasks such as general seasonal bed and border care, soil conditioning, mulching weeding, pruning, cutting back, tying in.
* · Planting of trees, shrubs, perennials and bulbs.
* · Lawn mowing, strimming, edging, hedge trimming, low level tree pruning and lopping.
* · Operating and maintaining various garden machinery including mowers and hedge cutters.
* · Treatment of pest and disease using environmentally friendly treatments and techniques
* · Use, care and maintain tools according to Health and Safety guidelines.
Key Skills:
* · We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a strong horticultural knowledge who will put all their creativity and imagination into their work and be part of a talented team.
* · Candidates must be a good Team player, be able to show initiative, have excellent practical skills and experience in all areas of horticulture with a good eye for detail.
* · They will have a strong work ethic and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering high quality workmanship.
* · It is important that they have excellent communication skills, combined with a pro-active and flexible approach to their duties.
