HCB Widdows Mason is excited to offer an opportunity for a Trainee Conveyancer/Junior Fee Earner to join our established conveyancing team in Swansea. This role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their legal career in residential conveyancing, with a focus on non-new build transactions.
As a Trainee Conveyancer/Junior Fee Earner, you will be supported by experienced professionals while developing your skills and knowledge within the field. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in managing a caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring smooth progression from instruction to completion.
* Conducting property searches and due diligence as required.
* Supporting senior team members in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.
* Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction process.
* Providing excellent customer service and timely updates to clients regarding their cases.
* Learning to navigate the legal software and case management systems used in the firm.
* Participating in training sessions and learning opportunities to enhance your conveyancing knowledge.
Requirements
* A genuine interest in pursuing a career in conveyancing or property law.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Prior experience in a legal setting or customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential.
* Relevant qualifications in law or similar field are preferred.
