Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, smile makeovers and sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
* Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
* Support patients through effective communication, addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism
* Manage appointment scheduling and organise patient flow to optimise clinic efficiency
* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and health regulations
* Support the team with administrative duties as required, including stock management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
* Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting, preferably dental nursing
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures relevant to dental care
* Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of patient care
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental nursing are desirable but not essential; training opportunities are available for enthusiastic candidates committed to professional development
