Moat House Care Home are currently recruiting a Chef Manager to join our team based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, United Kingdom. You will join us on a Full Time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £39,806.00 Per Annum.

About the Chef Manager role
* 40 hours per week
* Salary of £39,806.00 Per Annum
* 5 days a week
* Alternate Weekend Work Required
* Plan, prepare and cook varied meals which are nutritious and appealing and centred around residents’ preferences or requirements
* Implement, monitor and maintain cleaning schedules that meet HACCP Manual requirements and ensure all areas of the kitchen are immaculate
* Organise and order food deliveries with approved suppliers
* Responsible for kitchen equipment and ensuring it is in full, safe working order
* Budget responsibilities
* Stock management and completion of audits
* Planning and management of staff rotas
* Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements including COSHH and HACCP

What we need from you
* Previous Chef Manager experience (essential)
* Previous Care Home experience (desirable)
* Available to work Mon‑Fri and alternate weekends
* Food Hygiene Certificate
* Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
* Positive and caring attitude (essential)
