What you’ll do
Help us ‘Create the Future’ as we build and scale our new Network API team. The team’s purpose is to deliver API products that unlock the value of our technology assets and meet the needs of developers. We will design and build a new suite of API products to be scaled across Vodafone markets, commercialise the APIs to maximise value, and grow our channel and portal capabilities to ensure the product reaches customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an empowered team operating as an agile start-up, with the scale and recognition of a global brand. We seek a collaborative product leader to shape these products and lead this new initiative.
The Network API team is responsible for directly monetisable APIs across all Vodafone markets, with visibility to customers via the Developer Marketplace portal. Ensuring the right portfolio and customer-centric products is key to unlocking growth opportunities for Vodafone.
You will evolve our product strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
Role of Principal Product Manager for Network API
Lead Vodafone’s group strategy for Network APIs, establishing Vodafone’s thought leadership in this emerging field. This role involves creating a global product team, fostering collaboration, and scaling innovations while ensuring market adoption and stakeholder buy-in.
Responsibilities include leading portfolio strategy, defining product roadmaps, prioritising development efforts, and ensuring product quality through the entire lifecycle, including sunset phases and standard compliance. You will also lead and inspire a global team of product managers.
Who you are
* Proven success in product design, development, and management, preferably in digital APIs within the telco industry.
* At least 10 years of management and leadership experience in product development or related fields.
* Experience with data privacy and highly regulated environments globally.
* Strategic thinker with technical knowledge, capable of bridging gaps between business and technology.
* Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills, adept at navigating complex environments and motivating teams.
* Experience in entrepreneurial and large corporate settings, familiar with agile methodologies and SAFe.
