Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills and a solid background in food production and preparation. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet brand specifications.
* with support from executive chef and senior ops team implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering their culinary skills and career development.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively, using our procurement system.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Create a positive working environment that encourages creativity and innovation in menu development.
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience in a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
* Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
* Extensive culinary experience with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the restaurant industry.
