Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days in office)

Overview
A leading media and creative agency group is seeking a forward-thinking Commercial Director to lead commercial strategy, drive new business growth, and build out a high-performing revenue engine across both agency services and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in developing go-to-market strategies and pitching to senior stakeholders.
The Role
You will lead and grow the sales and marketing functions, identify new revenue opportunities, and improve commercial performance across social/influencer agency services and strategic brand partnerships.
This senior, hands-on role requires a deep understanding of social media—not just platform knowledge but also strategic insight into how social integrates with broader brand and marketing goals. You should have a proven track record of scaling teams, developing product-market fit, and creating winning pitches.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end commercial strategy for agency and partnership streams
* Support product development and go-to-market strategies—defining offerings, target audiences, and approaches
* Collaborate with leadership to achieve ambitious recurring revenue targets
* Build and manage a high-performing, cross-functional sales, strategy, and marketing team
* Develop and nurture new business pipelines to support growth
* Partner with marketing to shape go-to-market strategies and campaign narratives
* Identify and evolve revenue streams in influencer/social agency services and strategic brand partnerships
* Represent the company at senior levels in client meetings and industry events
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a senior commercial, business development, or growth role within a media, digital, or creative agency
* Strong expertise in social media: platforms, content formats, influencer marketing, algorithms, and cultural trends
* Ability to align social strategies with broader brand and business objectives
* Success in scaling revenue and commercial teams
* Strategic thinker with a creative edge—capable of building frameworks, developing narratives, and leading pitches
* Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
