Salt is excited to collaborate with a global media and technology organisation as they hire a Data Product Analyst to join their Decision Sciences team on an ASAP starting (6 month / temp-to-perm) opportunity. This role blends analytics with product strategy and plays a key part in the evolution of an international data platform. You’ll work cross-functionally to turn complex datasets into meaningful insights that guide product development and drive performance improvements. To be clear - this is not a data visualisation focused role. It's very much more technical, understanding how the data comes in, how it can best be utilised and support on ad-hoc reporting tasks. Key Role Responsibilities: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to inform strategic product decisions Monitor and report on product performance metrics, suggesting enhancements where needed Conduct market and competitive research to support product innovation Partner with teams across engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive, data-informed decision-making Support the implementation of data governance practices to ensure accuracy and consistency Key Experience required: 2-3 years of experience working with complex data sets in cloud environments Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and programming languages like Python or R is a plus Ability to translate complex findings into clear insights for diverse audiences Strong attention to detail and data integrity
