We're currently seeking a Trainee Customs Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Customs Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, compliant processing of customs declarations and act as a key contact for customs-related queries for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all documents received for customs purpose contain the minimum standard of information required, to process accurately.
* Submitting customs entries in Descartes E-customs, in line with HMRC legislation in a compliant manner, working to a 2-hour turnaround from receipt for EU Traffic.
* Provide copy entry by email & record in Leda (external document retention hub) with all commercial paperwork, which acts as a client’s audit trail for record keeping purposes.
* Responsible for customs amendments, to be actioned promptly.
