Join Keywords Studios as a Financial Controller and be at the heart of our financial operations, delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across our UK studios. You will play a key role the finance team, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic business decisions through comprehensive financial analysis.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and associated analysis for a studio.
* Balance sheet Reconciliations and SarbOx compliance.
* Cash flow management.
* Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
* Preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
* VAT returns.
* Revenue recognition.
* Preparation of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors.
* Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders to provide performance and commercial
* analysis.
* Liaising with Shared Services Centre responsible for accounts payable, receivable, and creditcontrol.
Requirements
* The successful candidate for this role will be a Qualified (or nearly qualified accountant) Accountant.
* You will possess a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition, and desire to
* succeed.
* You will also have a good understanding of financial accounting and will possess strong
* communication skills.
* Experience of Netsuite is essential, experience of Tagetik would be useful but isn’t essential.
* Strong Excel skills are essential.
