Role: 2nd Line IT Systems Support Engineer Location: Witney (4 days) Henley (1) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Profile A growing organisation based in Witney are looking to add a 2 nd Line IT Systems Support Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a 2 nd Line IT Systems Engineer line role and have strong communication skills. This role would be perfect for a strong 2nd Line Engineer who has also had a little bit of experience with 3rd line which will be the natural progress for this position. Having experience of working on a variety of projects will be a massive plus for this position. It is essential that you have a driving license for this position as occasionally you will need to also support their Henley office 1 day a week. Key Responsibilities To be an effective point of contact for Internal IT, resolving issues, escalating internally, or referring to 3rd parties as appropriate Experience with Cloud environment such as Microsoft Cloud and Azure Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication needed for this support position Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners Liaise with senior IT team members to escalate any issues or reoccurring problems or concerns within the IT areas To contribute to the development & implementation of IT plans to enable it to support the growth of the business, whilst improving the efficiency and effectiveness of hardware, software, and systems Identify areas where improvements can be made in the IT service, and suggest enhancements to the joint Head of IT Technical Skills Active Directory Microsoft Office 365 support & administration Sharepoint Experience of Intune An understanding of laptop imaging & device build processes Experience of Backup Software & maintenance procedures This is a great opportunity for a candidate to move into a more senior position and shoulder more responsibility.
