A Global Law Firm in London are seeking a 4-6 PQE Employment Managing Associate to join their growing Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Partners as they build and shape the team. The work: Corporate support and advisory work across a broad range of transactional employment matters. Acting on workforce classification and restriction covenants. Cross-border M&A, workforce restructurings, employee relations, recruitment and severance. Advising leading global corporates in Finance, Tech, and high-growth start-ups. Specifics: • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, consultancy agreements and employment policies and handbooks. • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements. • Misclassification issues and general UK start-up issues for early-stage companies. • Individual and collective redundancy exercises. • Disciplinary and grievance issues; and • The conduct of employment due diligence on corporate transactions and the drafting, mark-up and negotiation of employment warranties and indemnities as needed. You’ll bring: 4 years’ PQE in employment law. Strong drafting, advisory, and transactional experience. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
