Summary
An exciting opportunity to join the Activity & Communications team in Central Store Operations. As the Activity Manager you will work with the relevant business area to manage and deliver an accurate, timely and simplified store activity plan supporting stores to always be customer first.
About The Role
Working collaboratively with Food and C&H Business Units you would support our stores to be customer first, by managing the overall level of activity, to ensure they can spend more time on the shop floor. You will also deputise for the Lead Activity Manager and take the lead on future activity planning where required.
* Work with BU to deliver a simplified activity plan by:
o Building great relationships with stakeholders in stores, support centre and regional teams, to drive collaboration across Retail Support
o Collate activity requests, working 2 quarters ahead at any one time
o Impact assessing all activities and ensuring all activity is aligned and resourced to SRA principles and the business priorities
o React to trade and business priorities, to ensure activity is removed or smoothed where possible to ensure stores have the best possible chance of success to deliver
o Drive improvements following store feedback and lessons learnt, with a real customers first mindset
o Partner with Retail Communication Manager to ensure comms reacts effectively to trade and business priorities, and is as per agreed activity
* Work with wider activity team to ensure Retail Leadership team are clear of all activity coming, and updated at suitable milestones
* Own and manage the Air Traffic Control app on Power BI, to ensure it is maintained and accurate for store and support centre colleagues to utilise
* Build the overall activity plan for stores, highlighting clashes and working to move activity where required
* Support the Retail Communications Managers with not right first-time summary, to ensure accurate reflection of store activity
* Have a forward-thinking mindset on activity planning, with a clear stakeholder engagement plan to ensure all activity is planned in advance, having followed the correct sign off procedure

Technical Skills/ Experience
* Excellent Stakeholder Management across several areas
* Excellent relationship building to ensure stakeholders want to work with you
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good understanding of Microsoft applications including Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Retail and store operation
* Experience in co-ordinating activities
* Strong attention to detail
