Company and role context Envo Talent is partnering closely with a well established, employee owned energy consultancy and software provider as they continue to strengthen their commercial team. This role has been created to support sustained inbound demand and to ensure prospective customers receive a professional, consultative first experience when engaging with the business. The company operates at the intersection of energy management, consultancy and net zero delivery, supporting organisations across the UK to better understand and control their energy use and carbon impact. Role overview As a Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for new and returning customers. The role focuses primarily on inbound leads and warm opportunities, using phone and Microsoft Teams to qualify enquiries, run structured discovery conversations, prepare quotes and convert interest into long term customer relationships. You will also reconnect with lapsed accounts and historic prospects, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover once a sale is secured. The role sits within the sales team and operates on a hybrid basis, reporting into the commercial leadership function. Salary and benefits snapshot Salary £28,000 to £32,000 Uncapped commission with typical earnings of £7,000 to £8,000 Permanent contract 37 hours per week Hybrid working model Short call to action If you are a consultative sales professional who enjoys structured conversations, qualifying real customer needs and working towards clear, achievable targets, Envo Talent would welcome a confidential discussion. Responsibilities and duties Respond to and qualify inbound enquiries in a timely and professional manner Conduct discovery calls to understand customer requirements and priorities Prepare and present quotes and proposals aligned to customer needs Maintain consistent follow up activity to progress leads through to conversion Manage your pipeline accurately using CRM systems Reconnect with lapsed customers and previous prospects to re open discussions Collaborate with internal delivery and account teams to ensure effective handovers Represent the business with professionalism across phone and virtual meetings Professional qualifications and experience GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths Minimum of two years’ experience in a sales, customer advisory or account based role Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office products Comfortable operating in a hybrid working environment Experience within energy, utilities or professional services is beneficial but not essential Personal attributes and behaviours Naturally organised with the ability to manage multiple conversations at once Confident communicator who can adapt their style to different stakeholders Self motivated and comfortable working independently when required Customer focused with a consultative rather than transactional approach Reliable, professional and consistent in follow up and delivery Salary and benefits Employee ownership with access to a profit share scheme Hybrid working with a mix of home and office based days Flexible holiday allowance Contributory pension scheme Medical cash plan Wellbeing programme Life assurance Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme Free on site parking On site kitchenette and breakout areas with complimentary refreshments Company funded events and team activities Relaxed dress code Ongoing learning and development through internal and external training UK compliance and equal opportunities Envo Talent is acting as an employment partner on behalf of our client.
