They will support the preparation and submission of high-quality, commercially competitive proposals and tender documents in line with client requirements and company strategy. Responsible for ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, and submitted within deadlines, contributing to the successful conversion of business opportunities. Key Deliverables: Prepare and compile proposal and tender documentation in response to client invitations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards. Liaise with internal stakeholders (technical, operations, finance, supply chain) to gather the necessary information for high-quality submissions. Analyse tender documents and specifications to identify requirements, risks, and opportunities. Coordinate and manage the proposal process to meet agreed deadlines, escalating risks or delays to the Tendering & Proposals Manager. Maintain and update standard proposal templates, databases, libraries and supporting materials to ensure consistency and efficiency. Support cost estimation and pricing activities in collaboration with commercial and finance teams. Review and proofread proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client instructions. Assist in post-submission follow-up, clarifications, and contract handover processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes, tools, and templates and contribute to Business Development as and when required, attending meetings with clients to discuss requirements. Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements Profile Qualifications and Work Experience: • Essential: Qualification in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience). • Essential: Experience preparing proposals or technical/commercial submissions within Energy, Renewables, or related industries. • Desirable: Training in bid/proposal management or project management. • Desirable: Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary input to bids or tenders. Job Specific Knowledge: • Essential: Understanding of proposal development processes, bid compliance, and commercial considerations. • Essential: Knowledge of MS Office Suite and document formatting. • Desirable: Familiarity with client procurement processes and portals.
